Jean MacInnes

Jean Lam MacInnes (she/her) is a Managing Director and Head of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion for Mizuho Americas, where she is responsible for the firm’s DEI strategy and initiatives, which includes recruitment, retention, education and employee engagement, five Employee Resource Groups and a high school internship program from local underrepresented communities. Jean is also a board member of PFLAG NYC.
Prior to her role in DEI, Jean practiced banking law for over 20 years with Dewey Ballantine, Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal (now Dentons) and BNP Paribas. She is a graduate of Notre Dame Law School and the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University. She lives in Long Island with her husband, two teenage children and a beloved rescue dog from Puerto Rico.
