David Hackett

David Hackett is Senior Counsel with Baker & McKenzie in Chicago where he advises companies and entities on ESG compliance, risk, strategy and litigation matters. In addition, he counsels a number of non profits in the ESG arena such as A4S, Ceres, UNGC US Network and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development. He wrote a chapter on Developing and Implementing Effective ESG Programs in the recently published ABA book entitled The Sustainable Corporation. Prior to joining Baker & McKenzie he was with the Environmental Division of the US Justice Department. He is a graduate of Haverford College and the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
