Sam Richardson

Sam Richardson, Strategic Information Security Officer, is a member of Fidelity Investments’ Enterprise Cybersecurity team. He and his team help Enterprise Technology teams identify and remediate security concerns and incidents, both present and on the horizon. He developed and managed a Cybersecurity Incident Management team for Fidelity that has supported global Security Operations Center activities.

Mr. Richardson was an End-Point Exploitation Analyst for the National Security Agency (NSA) as a Cryptologic Analyst (Networks) for the United States Navy. Mr. Richardson led a team of cyber analysts in planning and execution of highly specialized cyber operations for counter-terrorism, counter-nuclear, biological, chemical weapons, and counter-human trafficking intelligence gathering. Mr. Richardson became a consulting member on the Naval Cyber Warfare Exercise board as a subject matter expert in tactical cyber warfare.
