John Rodriguez

Special Agent (SA) John Rodriguez began his career in federal law enforcement in 2017 upon joining Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). Presently, he is assigned to The El Dorado Task Force (EDTF) Securities Investigations Group. SA Rodriguez has led investigations into complex fraud schemes that utilize cryptocurrencies. These investigations have resulted in multiple arrests and seizures of cryptocurrencies valued over $120 million.

Prior to joining the federal service, SA Rodriguez worked as a Detective Investigator for the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office, where he participated in investigations involving narcotics, homicide, mortgage fraud, and organized crime.

SA Rodriguez holds a Bachelor of Science degree from John Jay and a certification in Chainalysis Reactor.
