John Kotsonouris

Current Position: John’s group drives transformational change within Operations’ processes and functions through the combination of data analysis and optimum process design.  They partner closely with Markets Operations teams to design and deliver Target Operating Models through automation, leveraging both Low Code Solutions and Core Technology platforms.  Goal is to deliver best in class re-engineering solutions to enable Markets Operations professionals to excel with client service, robust risk management and continuous improvement.  The group is made up of Project Managers and Business Analysts along with Rapid Application Development team for Low Code solutions.

Career Highlights: John joined Citi in October 2018 as Global Head of Change Management for Prime Finance and Futures Operations. He went on to take over Middle Office Reg Control and Innovation across various teams.

Prior to joining Citi John spent 12 years at Goldman Sachs in a variety of Change Management roles in Operations. He managed multiple Listed Derivatives and Prime Brokerage project management teams as well as Global Head of the Client Experience Change Delivery team.  Prior to Goldman Sachs he was a business consultant with IBM.

Educational Background: John graduated from the University of East London with a Bachelors of Science in Applied Economics and from the University of Reading with a Masters in International Business and Finance, both in the UK.

Additional Information: John lives in Jersey City with his wife and 2 children.  He is on the Board of Trustees of The Ethical Community Charter School (TECCS) in Jersey City.
