Mark Belanger is Vice President and Associate General Counsel with Fidelity Investments. Fidelity’s mission is to inspire better futures and deliver better outcomes for the customers and businesses it serves. With assets under administration of $5.6 trillion, including managed assets of $2.1 trillion as of November 30, 2016, Fidelity is focused on meeting the unique needs of a diverse set of customers: helping more than 25 million people invest their own life savings, nearly 20,000 businesses manage employee benefit programs, as well as providing nearly 10,000 advisory firms with investment and technology solutions to invest their own clients’ money. Mark’s current areas of responsibility include cybersecurity, privacy, intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions, and technology transactions and licensing. Prior to joining Fidelity in 2004, Mark served as in-house counsel at IBM Corporation and CMGI, Inc. Mark began his legal career with the law firm of Palmer & Dodge LLP (now Locke Lord LLP). Mark is a graduate of Boston College Law School and Union College.
