The Bond Market Association (TBMA)* provides comments to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on a New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) request for exemption from Section 12(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 for certain debt securities, File No. S7-06-05.  While the TBMA supports the NYSE initiative, TBMA shares a variety of technical and policy concerns and questions with the SEC, recommending the SEC address the comments prior to the granting the exemption.
