SIFMA and American Bankers Association (ABA) provided comments to the Federal Reserve Board on Volcker Rule conformance period for legacy illiquid funds. SIFMA and ABA believes the approach taken by the Board fails to implement congressional intent and reduces the safety and soundness of banking entities without furthering any policy goal of the Volcker Rule.
