SEC on the NYSE’s Requests Regarding Options Regulatory Fees

Summary

SIFMA provides comments to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on proposals by NYSE Arca, Inc. and NYSE MKT, LLC (the Exchanges) to establish fixed dates on which rates changes can be applied to the Exchanges’ respective Options Regulatory Fees (ORF). SIFMA strongly supports these changes and urges the SEC to approve the proposals. Furthermore, SIFMA believes that the SEC should require that the same schedules and notice requirements be adopted by all U.S. options exchanges.
