Federal Deposit Insurance Act

SIFMA provides comments to U.S. Representative Bill Huizenga, a sponsor of H.R. 4014, a bill that would amend the Federal Deposit Insurance Act with respect to information provided to the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection (CFPB).  SIFMA supports H.R. 4014, noting the legislation is important to protect long standing legal privileges under existing law, and to benefit the CFPB and retail customers alike.
