Proposal Regarding Facilitating Shareholder Director Nominations

SIFMA provides to the SEC in response to the Response to Release Nos. 33-9046; 34-60089: File No. S7-10-09; Facilitating Shareholder Director Nominations (Proposal).

This proposes changes to the federal proxy rules and would require, under certain circumstances, a company to include in its proxy materials a shareholder’s, or group of shareholders’, nominees for directors.
