The Securities Industry Association (SIA)* provides comments to the Ohio Division of Securities on the North American Securities Administrators Association’s (NASAA’s) Revised Proposed Model Rules for Sales of Securities at Financial Institutions (Model Rules).  SIA notes that the proposals attempts to harmonize the new rules with National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) Rule 2350 may cause potential issues with inconsistent regulations across the states, given some states have already adopted similar rules.
