Dave Sparks currently serves as SVP & General Counsel of the Private Client Group at Raymond James. Dave began his career at the SEC in Washington, DC (Division of Corporation Finance and Division of Market Regulation) before transitioning to private practice in San Francisco. After several years in private practice, he joined Charles Schwab & Co. where he was a Managing Director in the Office of Corporate Counsel for 10 years. Immediately prior to joining Raymond James, Dave was with First Republic Bank in San Francisco where he led legal coverage for Private Wealth Management.
Dave earned his BBA from the University of Michigan, his JD and MBA from Pepperdine University and his LLM from the London School of Economics.
