Washington, D.C., October 5, 2026 ––SIFMA today announced Brooke Kramer will join the Association’s Federal Advocacy team. As Vice President of Federal Government Affairs, Ms. Kramer will manage a portfolio of legislative, regulatory and policy issues affecting the capital markets.

“I am pleased to welcome Brooke to our team. Her deep knowledge of the House Financial Services Committee will be of great value as we continue to advocate for efficient and effective capital markets on behalf of our members,” said SIFMA president and CEO Kenneth E. Bentsen, Jr.

Joseph Seidel, chief operating officer of SIFMA, added, “Brooke brings substantial Capitol Hill experience in both the House and Senate to SIFMA. Her policy expertise and strong relationships will be a terrific complement to our advocacy team as we promote policies that support capital formation and robust markets.”

“We are thrilled to welcome Brooke to the SIFMA Federal Advocacy team. Her work leading the financial services and digital assets portfolio for a senior member, combined with her legislative and appropriations experience, makes her an excellent addition to our already exceptional advocacy team,” added Lucas West, Executive Vice President, Advocacy at SIFMA.

Ms. Kramer joins SIFMA from the office of U.S. Representative Frank D. Lucas, where she has served as Legislative Director since January 2026, supervising the office’s legislative staff and leading the Congressman’s work on the House Financial Services Committee and the House Agriculture Subcommittee on Commodity Markets, Digital Assets, and Rural Development. Prior to that, Ms. Kramer served as Military Legislative Assistant to Rep. Lucas, leading the defense and transportation portfolios.

She began her career in the office of U.S. Senator James Lankford, serving as a legislative correspondent and later as a legislative aide. Ms. Kramer earned her Master of Arts degree in International Relations & Contemporary War from King’s College London and her Bachelor of Science degrees in Political Science and Intercultural Studies, summa cum laude, from John Brown University.

Ms. Kramer begins at SIFMA today (October 5) and is located in SIFMA’s Washington, D.C. office, reporting to Lucas West.
