TBMA Submits Comments to the US Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee on Recycling FFEL Program Loans

The Bond Market Association (TBMA)* provides comments to the Chairman and Ranking Member of the U.S. Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee as the Committee considers reauthorizing the Higher Education Act. TBMA urges the Committee to maintain the ability of student loan providers to recycle certain loans, in particular the Federal Family Education Loans (FFEL),until the bonds they back reach maturity.

*SIFMA is the product of a merger between the Securities Industry Association (SIA) and The Bond Market Association (TBMA) in 2006.
