TBMA Submits Comments to the US Department of Treasury on Fails in Government Securities

The Bond Market Association (TBMA)*providescomments to the Bureau of Public Debt within the U.S. Department of Treasury on buy-ins of customer sell-order fails in government securities. Over the prior year, TBMA and its members have been focusing significant attention on fails in the U.S. Treasury and agency mortgage-backed securities (MBS) markets and the application of the Buy-In Rule to the fails.
