TBMA Submits Comments to the US Department of Treasury and Internal Revenue Service on Circular 230

The Bond Market Association (TBMA)*provides commentsto the U.S. Department of Treasury (Treasury)and Internal Revenue Service (IRS)on Circular 230 and the impact of Section 10.35 on the securities offerings in theU.S. capital markets. TBMA believes that portions of Section 10.35 will present issues that are inconsistent with established practices and expectations.

*SIFMA is the product of a merger between the Securities Industry Association (SIA) and The Bond Market Association (TBMA) in 2006.
