TBMA Submits Comments to the Leadership of the US House Committee on Education and the Workforce on Student Loan Recycling

The Bond Market Association (TBMA)provides comments to theChairmanJohn Boehner (R-Ohio) and Ranking Member George Miller (D-Calif.)of the U.S. House Committee on Education and the Workforce urging the leadership to amend the College Access & Opportunity Act (H.R.609). TBMA believes that immediately eliminating the ability to recycle pre-1993 Federal Family Education Loans (FFEL) would have a negative effect on certain student loan bondholders.
