SIFMA wrote a letter to a California Senator Ricardo Lara opposing legislation (SB 1094).

SIFMA believes the bill will be viewed very negatively in the capital markets. Specifically, the uncertainty created by this bill will be costly to health care institutions, limit their capital access, and potentially deter necessary transactions from occurring.
