SIFMA supported the Walberg resolution in a letter. SIFMA endorsed the use of the Congressional Review Act to overturn the Department of Labor’s rule, arguing that exempting states from ERISA will threaten the retirement security of Americans and weaken the retirement savings options available to investors. SIFMA also sent a letter to the Senate urging that Chamber to pass the same resolution.
