The Lucas Amendment to H.R. 238: Language to Clarify Exemptions from Swap Rules

SIFMA and other associations provided a joint trade letter to US House of Representatives in support of the Lucas amendment to H.R. 238, which includes language to clarify exemptions from swap rules, as well as requirements for reporting, risk management, and anti-evasion as it relates to such transactions.
