SIFMA provides comments to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on the SEC’s Notice of Solicitation of Public Views relating to practices being developed to deal with the increasing number of senior investors, Release No. 34-57308.  SIFMA commends the SEC, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and the North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA) for their efforts to protect and serve senior investors. SIFMA recommends making changes in marketing and advertising to seniors, product and account review, and attention paid to meet senior investor’s changing needs.
