SIFMA provides comments to the New York Governor Eliot Spitzer on the Governor’s proposed 2008-2009 Executive Budget.  SIFMA shares its concerns about the proposed budget including: 1) the lack of critical growth incentives for the financial services industry; 2) the inordinate burden placed on the financial services sector; and 3) the unintended consequences that would contribute to the state’s declining economy and revenues.
