SIFMA provides comments to the bill sponsor on West Virginia HB 2712, an Act that would prohibit employers from requiring an employee or applicant to provide passwords to personal social media accounts. SIFMA seeks an industry exemption to ensure that financial institutions are able to meet their regulatory compliance obligations.
