The SIFMA Municipal Securities Division provides comments to Janet Yellen, Chair, Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System on the potential effects on the municipal securities market of the final rule on Minimum Capital Requirements for Market Risk published by the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision, also known as Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB), and provides suggestions for certain clarifications and changes.
