SIFMA provides comments to the California State Assembly on A. 2726, an Act to Add and Repeal Sec. 17053 of the Revenue and Taxation Code. SIFMA strongly opposes this measure because it would eliminate investment choice, restrict the current tax deduction for college savings, and discourage many families from saving for ever-increasing college costs.
