The Coalition for Patent Fairness Patent Reform Act of 2007

SIFMA as part of the Coalition for Patent Fairness provides comments to the U.S. Senate leadership on the Patent Reform Act of 2007, S. 1145. The Coalition for Patent Fairness is an alliance of large and small businesses and associations in the technology, financial services, energy, chemical, manufacturing and media industries. The Coalition expresses its strong support for S. 1145, and notes that the bill would stimulate American innovation, growth and competitiveness by restoring balance to the U.S. patent system.
