SIFMA and other associations provide comments to the U.S. House of Representatives on the Commodity Markets Transparency and Accountability Act of 2008 (H.R.6604). The groups urges the members of the House to oppose H.R. 6604, because of concerns about the effect of this bill on the futures and derivatives markets.  SIFMA co-signed the letter with the Futures Industry Association (FIA), the Investment Adviser Association (IAA), the Investment Company Institute (ICI), the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA), The Financial Services Forum (FSF) and The Financial Services Roundtable (FSR).
