Commodity Derivatives Legislation

SIFMA, along with the Futures Industry Association (FIA), the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA), and The Financial Services Roundtable (FSR), provides comments to the members of the U.S. House Agriculture Committee as the Committee prepares to mark-up legislation addressing commodity derivatives.  The group opposes restrictions on foreign boards of trade, prevention of pension funds diversification, position limits on OTC derivatives, and burdensome reporting requirements.
