Requirements for Substitute Retail Investment Products

SIFMA, as part of  the Joint Associations Committee, along with the European Securitisation Forum (ESF), the International Capital Market Association (ICMA), the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA), and the London Investment Banking Association (LIBA) provide comments to the European Commission relating to product transparency and distribution requirements for substitute retail investment products.  In October 2007, the Commission issued a Call for Evidence on the issue.
