Study Relating to the Standardized Computer-Readable Descriptions of Complex & Standardized Derivatives

SIFMA and the International Swaps and Derivatives Association, Inc. (ISDA) provide comments to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) on a mandated algorithmic study on the feasibility of requiring the adoption of standardized computer-readable descriptions of complex and standardized derivatives, Release No. 34-63423, File No. 4-620.  The study is mandated by Section 719(b) of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (Dodd-Frank Act).  The groups answer questions posed in the CFTC’s request for comments relating to the study.
