Economic Growth and Regulatory Paperwork Reduction Act (EGRPRA) Review

SIFMA and the Financial Services Roundtable (FSR) provided joint comments to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (Federal Reserve Board), and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), (collectively the Agencies) in connection with the Economic Growth and Regulatory Paperwork Reduction Act (EGRPRA) requirement that banking regulations be reviewed by the Agencies at least once every 10 years.

In the letter, SIFMA and the FSR proposed some guiding principles for the Agencies to apply in conducting the review and addressed specific regulations currently under review by the Agencies: Applications and Reporting, Powers and Activities, and International Operations.
