SIA Submits Comments to US Senate Committee Staff on a Discussion Draft Concerning Tax Shelters

The Securities Industry Association (SIA)* provide comments to the staff of the U.S. Senate Finance Committee on the revised staff discussion draft concerning tax shelters released on October 5, 2000. SIA shares that their analysis of this draft indicates that it would do little to improve the practical effect of the original staff proposal.
