SIA Submits Comments to the US Senate Finance Committee Staff on the Tax Shelter Staff Discussion Draft

The Securities Industry Association (SIA)* provides comments to the staff of the U.S. Senate Finance Committee on the Tax Shelter Staff Discussion Draft of August 3, 2001. SIA primarily focus their comments on the proposed penalty increases that would affect our firms in their capacities as financial intermediaries and financial advisors assisting clients with capital markets transactions.
