SIA Submits Comments to the US Senate Finance Committee on International Tax Laws

The Securities Industry Association (SIA)*provides comments to the leadership of the U.S. Senate Finance Committee on international tax laws. Since the Committee is examining the U.S.’s international tax laws, SIA takes the opportunity to share a summary of the international legislative tax issues that are important to the industry. SIA believes the current international tax regime is outdated and looks forward to working with the Committee on developing changes to modernize and simplify the system.

*SIFMA is the product of a merger between the Securities Industry Association (SIA) and The Bond Market Association (TBMA) in 2006.
