SIA Submits Comments to the US Department of Treasury and the IRS on Proposed Regulations on Global Dealing

The Securities Industry Association (SIA)* provides comments to the U.S. Department of the Treasury and the Internal Revenue Service on proposed regulations on global dealing. SIA responds to the agencies’ request for additional information regarding the allocation methods commonly used by SIA member firms to allocate profit and loss among participants in a global dealing operation and consider how these methods can be accommodated in the proposals.
