Revision of Holding Period Requirements Under Rule 144

The Capital Markets Committee and the Federal Regulation Committee of the Securities Industry Association (SIA)* provided comments to the SEC regarding proposed amendments to the holding period requirements contained in Rule 144 under the Securities Act of 1933 to reduce by one year both of the holding periods related to restricted securities.
