The Use of Electronic Media by Certain Financial Industry Professionals

The Technology Regulatory Committee and the Federal Regulation Committee of the Securities Industry Association (SIA)* provides comments to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on a proposal relating to the use of electronic media by broker-dealers, transfer agents, and investment advisers to deliver information required under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, File No. S7-13-96. SIA offers its observations and recommendations on the proposal.
