SIA Submits Comments to the SEC on the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995

The Securities Industry Association (SIA)* provides comments to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)on the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (the Act). The SEC requested comments on the proposed collection of information pursuant to the Act. SIA shares its observations and recommendations on the proposal include: 1) the necessity and practicality of the collection of information; 2) the estimate of the burden of the proposed collection; and 3) ways to enhance the quality, utility and clarity of the information.
*SIFMA is the product of a merger between the Securities Industry Association (SIA) and The Bond Market Association (TBMA) in 2006.
