SIA Submits Comments to the SEC on the Delivery of Proxy and Information Statements

The Securities Industry Association (SIA)* provides comments to the Securitiesand Exchange Commission (SEC) on the proposal to amend the rules governing the delivery of proxy and information statements to households, File No. S7-26-99. SIA strongly believes that an effective householding program will result in lower costs, increased efficiencies and less confusion for customers. SIA offers its observations and recommendation on how to realize further cost savings and performance improvements from householding and electronic communications.
