SIA Submits Comments to the SEC on Proposals Relating to Public Disclosure of Order Routing and Execution Practices

The Market Structure Committee of the Securities Industry Association (SIA)* provides comments to theSecurities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on two new proposed rules designed to improve public disclosure of order routing and execution practices, Securities Exchange Act Release No. 34-43084; File No. S7-16-00. SIA strongly supports enhanced disclosure, although certain disclosures in the SEC’s proposal raise concerns.
