SIA Submits Comments to the SEC on an ICI Petition for Rulemaking on Certain Portfolio Investment Programs

The Securities Industry Association (SIA)* provides comments to theSecurities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in response to the Investment Company Institute’s (ICI’s)petition for rulemaking with respect to “certain portfolio investment programs” that may be available either on-line or through more traditional brokerage or advisory relationships. SIA details its reasons for believing the rulemaking proposal should not be adopted.
