SIA Submits Comments to the SEC on a Proposed Rule Change Relating to TRACE Market Data Fees

The Securities Industry Association (SIA)*provides comments to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)onthe National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc. (NASD) proposed rule changerelating to TRACE market data fees, Release No. 34-51336; File No. SR-NASD-2005-026. In addition to the comments on the proposed rule, SIA petitions the SEC for rulemaking to review the definitions of “Professional” and “Non-Professional” as interpreted for market data fee and administrative purposes.
