SIA Submits Comments to the Kansas State Taxation Committee on Extending Favorable Tax Treatment to All 529 College Savings Plans

The Securities Industry Association (SIA)* provides comments to the Kansas State Taxation Committee on extending favorable tax treatment to all 529 College Savings Plans (529 Plans). The Committee has an upcoming hearing on legislation, HB 2573, that would provide such an extension to any qualified 529 Plan. SIA strongly supports the HB 2573.
