SIA Submits Comments to the FCC on the Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1992

The Securities Industry Association (SIA)*provides commentsto the Federal Communications Commission (FCC)on the Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1992 (the Act). The Act was amended by the Junk Fax Protection Act of 2005. Specifically, SIA shares its observations and recommendations on the “established business relationship” (EBR) exemption to the FCC’s unsolicited facsimile advertising rules.

*SIFMA is the product of a merger between the Securities Industry Association (SIA) and The Bond Market Association (TBMA) in 2007.
