SIA Submits Additional Comments to the SEC on Securities Transaction Settlement

The Securities Industry Association (SIA)*provides additionalcomments to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) onthe SEC Concept Release: Securities Transaction Settlement on methods to improve the safety and operational efficiency of the U.S. clearance and settlement system and to help the U.S. securities industry achieve straight-through-processing (STP).

*SIFMA is a product of the merger between the Securities Industry Association (SIA)* and The Bond Market Association (TBMA) in 2006.
