SIA, as Part of the FSCC, Submits Comments to the Federal Reserve on Proposed Privacy Regulations under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act

SIA, as part of the Financial Services Coordinating Council, provides comments totheBoard of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (Federal Reserve) onproposed privacy regulations required under Title V of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLB Act), Docket No. R-1058. The group urges the Federal Reserve to provide as much flexibility as possible in the final rule, and offers its observations about some of the more important issues presented in the proposal.
