SIA and TBMA Submit Comments to the SEC on the NYSE Proposal Relating to Business Continuity and Contingency Planning

The Securities Industry Association (SIA)* and The Bond Market Association (TBMA)* provide comments to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) a notice of filing of proposed rule change by the New York Stock Exchange, Inc. (NYSE)relating to business continuity and contingency planning,File No. SR-NYSE-2002-35. The groups support industry-wide implementation of business continuity plans, and offer their observations and recommendations on the proposal.

*SIFMA is the product of a merger between the Securities Industry Association (SIA) and The Bond Market Association (TBMA) in 2006.
