SIA and TBMA Submit Comments to the SEC on Reserves and Custody of Securities

The Securities Lending Division of the Securities Industry Association (SIA)* and The Bond Market Association (TBMA)* provide comments to Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on a proposal to amend Rule 15c3-3 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 relating to consumer protection for reserves and custody of securities, File No. S7-20-02. The groups share views on the SEC’s proposed amendment to Rule 15c3-3, and the operation of Rule 15c3-3 in connection with borrowing from institutional counterparties.
