U.S. Regulatory Requirements Governing Foreign Broker-Dealers

The Securities Industry Association (SIA)* and the PSA The Bond Market Trade Association (PSA) provide comments to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on potential reforms to the current U.S. regulatory requirements governing foreign broker-dealers.  The groups believe that revisions to Rule 15a-6 under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 could address the principal difficulties that securities firms have encountered in conducting their activities under existing regulatory requirements.
